This is one of those “turn 15 seconds into 5 minutes” affairs. The core of the song is around the few melodies that make up the original – mainly the recurring chromatic line and back-and-forth melody that never stops. The final track has been slowed down a bit, and the result is an experiment in “90’s”, we think.
This is definitely one of my favorite Chunkstyle songs – BASS SOLO dude. We had fun noodling around with call and response ideas in his studio. Also, this is the first track where we both used Reaper exclusively. I’m pretty sure Chunk is done with Audition, and I’m done with Sonar.
AND Fox Dragon offered his talents for the track as well! We had a discussion about where the song falls in the game, and I love the direction he decided to go. FOXAAAY.
